Spindle nut - SteelSoldiers Just recently checked spindle nut on my 85 998 1038 It has the old 4 slot spindle nut Tab is secure and holds just fine My question is should I upgrade to 8 slot nut ? If so can I just replace the nut itself or do I need to replace washers and spindle nut washers as well ?
